Lindsay Dive Urge Manager

Lindsay Cabble: Lindsay is our Dive Club Manager and cheerfully manages the daily running of the club as well as being a group leader for dive clubs coming to Dive Urge, she helps to smooth the way and make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Lindsay has seen a lot of Egypt as a tour guide for the couple of years but then decided to trade in her dusty tour boots for booties instead!

Kate Valentine is our Office Angel! She will answer your e-mail queries prior to your visit; from your initial enquiry down to the last minute details and is available via telephone too (+20 10 715 1459) Kate is also a PADI Dive Master and so can appreciate and help with your dive related queries too.

Mahmoud Helal here to host your visit

Ahmed & Mahmoud, are both brothers of Helal, my Husband. Together they help to look after the running of the Club and to help with anything you need, nothing is too much trouble. They also have a good sense of humor, so watch out. As they are both divers they can appreciate your underwater shots and dive experiences, when you get back from your dives.

Bakar Chef Food Urge   Food Urge Resturant

Bakar has an important role as our head Chef for our 'Food Urge' Restaurant, on the beach. He can come up with anything from; a tasty fruit pancake in the morning to start your day, to a sumptuous Peppered Steak or Shrimp & Cajun Dip Special for the evening meal which you won't forget ( we also offer traditionally cooked Egyptian Meals on request as well as Fresh Fish, caught responsibly off coast).

The chefs are also there for those quick and tasty snacks between dives or a hot chocolate and slice of cake when you come back from your day's diving. 'Nothing is too much bother' We keep the feel of the place relaxed and family orientated so you can start feeling 'at home' straight away.

Manshed as seen in BBC   Manshed our Camel Guide

Here at Dive Urge, we are all passionate about diving and the natural beauty of this part of the Sinai, and try to protect it with small numbers of divers and picking up any rubbish we come across above or below the water.

We employ local Bedouins for their expertise in everything from Camel Treks to Dinners in the Mountains. (see Manshed above who does our Camel Safaris as seen on BBC's 'Running with Camels').

Everyone can enjoy Dive Urge as our whole facility and mind set has also included the needs of disabled clients, who have limited mobility. There is ramp access to all areas of the dive center and grab rails in the bathroom. There are plenty of other activities besides diving; camel riding, horse riding, snorkeling, kayaking, plus some amazing scenery to explore. All our children were born and raised in Dahab, this gives us an extra appreciation of the needs of families.
